(C)  RECOMMENDATIONS.

THE COUNCIL SHALL MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC WORKS ON:

(1)  THE IMPACT OF STATE PROGRAMS ON ANNAPOLIS AND THE
IMMEDIATE AREA;

(2)  THE MANNER IN WHICH THE BOARD MAY DIRECT THOSE
PROGRAMS TO PRESERVE AND ENHANCE ANNAPOLIS; AND

(3)  THE AVAILABILITY OF GOVERNMENT OR PRIVATE MONEY
THAT MAY BE SPENT UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
WORKS FOR CARRYING OUT THIS SUBTITLE.

(D)  COOPERATION AND CONSIDERATION.
THE COUNCIL SHALL:

(1)  COOPERATE WITH ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY AND THE CITY
OF ANNAPOLIS; AND

(2)  IN CARRYING OUT ITS DUTIES, CONSIDER THE VIEWS
OF:

(I)  THE COMMISSION ON ARTISTIC PROPERTY;

(II)  THE COMMISSION ON THE CAPITAL CITY;

(III)  THE MARYLAND HISTORICAL TRUST;

(IV)  THE STATE HOUSE TRUST; AND

(V)  EACH PERSON WHO HAS DEMONSTRATED AN
INTEREST AND COMPETENCE IN THE PRESERVATION OF ANNAPOLIS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 78A, §
14D(c) and the third sentence and the second clause of
the second sentence of (d).

In subsection (c)(3) of this section, the former
reference to carrying out "purposes" is deleted since
there is no statement of purpose in this subtitle.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE TO SUBTITLE:

Former Art. 41, § 181E(1), which enabled the Maryland
Historical Trust to enter into a lease agreement with Historic
Annapolis, Inc., for the management of Paca Gardens, described
the Gardens, described the purpose of the provisions and lease,
and made the Council the successor under the lease, is decodified
