In item (1) of this section, the former reference to
an "organization, or foundation" is deleted as
unnecessary in light of the broad reference to a
"private or public agency".

Also in item (1) of this section, the reference to
"carrying out the powers and duties of the Commission"
is substituted for the former reference to "its
purposes", since this subtitle does not include a
statement of purpose.

9-408. ANNUAL REPORT.

ON OR BEFORE JULY 1 OF EACH YEAR, THE COMMISSION SHALL
SUBMIT AN ANNUAL REPORT TO:

(1)  THE GOVERNOR;

(2)  THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY; AND

(3)  THE MAYOR OF ANNAPOLIS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as Art. 41,
§ 360(i).

The phrase "of its progress", which formerly modified
"report", is deleted as surplusage.

The only other changes are in style.

9-501. "TRUST" DEFINED.

IN THIS SUBTITLE, "TRUST" MEANS THE STATE HOUSE TRUST.

repetition of the full title "State House Trust".

9-502. ESTABLISHED.

THERE IS A STATE HOUSE TRUST.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is standard language added to
state expressly that the State House Trust is
established.

It is set forth as a separate section for emphasis.
