into the Code of Maryland Regulations and for which
the Register is the official text.

Also in subsection (a)(1) of this section, the former
reference to the duty to "supplement" the Code of
Maryland Regulations is deleted as unnecessary in
light of the definition of the term "Code of Maryland
Regulations", to include its permanent supplements.

The introductory language of subsection (b) of this
section, "[s]ubject to the limitations in this
subtitle," is added as a general reference to the
supervisory authority of the Secretary of State under
§ 7-203(c) of this subtitle, the authority of the
Board of Public Works under § 7-211(a) of this
subtitle, and the authority of the Committee under §§
7-205(a)(4) and (d)(1), 7-206(a)(2)(xv) and (c)(1),
and 7-216(a) of this subtitle.

Subsection (b) of this section is revised to state
expressly that the Administrator also is responsible
for distribution of the Register. See § 7-216 of this
subtitle.

7-205. CODE OF MARYLAND REGULATIONS.

(A) IN GENERAL.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, THE CODE OF MARYLAND
REGULATIONS SHALL CONTAIN THE TEXT OF:

IN NATURE;

(1) EACH EXECUTIVE ORDER THAT IS GENERALLY PERMANENT

(2) EACH REGULATION;

(3)  EACH DOCUMENT THAT THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY REQUIRES
TO BE PUBLISHED WITH A REGULATION; AND

(4)  UNLESS OTHERWISE PRIVILEGED, EACH OTHER DOCUMENT
THAT THE COMMITTEE PERMITS TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE CODE OF
MARYLAND REGULATIONS.

(B) PERMANENT SUPPLEMENTS.

(1) AT LEAST ONCE EACH YEAR, THE DIVISION SHALL
INTEGRATE INTO THE CODE OF MARYLAND REGULATIONS EACH DOCUMENT
THAT:

(I) IS REQUIRED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE CODE OF
MARYLAND REGULATIONS; AND
