SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 8 - Cecil County

39-1.

A purchase order shall be obtained from the County
Commissioners' office for all purchases [other than supplies] OF
GOODS AND SERVICES FOR $50 OR MORE. A PERSON WHO VIOLATES THIS
SECTION SHALL BE LIABLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF THE GOODS OR SERVICES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Cecil County - Orphans' Court - Salary

FOR the purpose of altering the annual compensation received by
each judge of the Orphans' Court for Cecil County; and
providing that this Act does not apply to incumbents.
