license holder from retail dealers. However, in Baltimore City
the holder of a Class C special beer, wine, and liquor license
may purchase beer and light wine from a wholesale dealer. In
Anne Arundel County, a special beer, wine and liquor license,
Class C licensee may purchase beer from a wholesaler.

(6) In Wicomico County the fee is [$25] $35 per day.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico County Board of License Commissioners -
Alcoholic Beverages - Penalties

FOR the purpose of altering the fine that the Wicomico County
Board of License Commissioners may impose for violations of
certain alcoholic beverages laws; authorizing, the Board to
both impose a fine and suspend an alcoholic beverages
license for these violations; and providing for the
application of this Act; and making this Act an emergency
measure.
