In subsection (a) of this section, reference to a
"unit of the Executive Branch of the State government"
is substituted for the former reference to "any

applies only to a State unit and to conform to other
references to units in the Executive Branch. As to
the word "unit", see the General Revisor's Note to
this article.
Also in subsection (a) of this section, reference to
the "Legislative Policy Committee" is substituted for
the former, obsolete reference to the "Legislative
Council".
In subsection (b) of this section, the words "on or

clarity.
GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE:
Former Art. 76, § 7, which required affidavits as to
publication of law as required under Md. Constitution, Art. III,
