(b) The [General Manager] CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER shall present a
summary of Customer Council activities and recommendations to the Management
Council, as provided in § 3-521(b) of this subtitle following each meeting.
10-308.
(d) An inmate working under the supervision of [State Use Industries]
MARYLAND CORRECTIONAL ENTERPRISES in the Federal Prison Industry
Enhancement Program:
(1) is excluded from the jurisdiction of the Board; and
(2) shall be administered benefits as provided under Title 9 of the Labor
and Employment Article.
Article - Criminal Procedure
11-1002.
(c) (1) The Department shall make the guidelines in subsection (b) of this
section available to the units involved with carrying out the guidelines.
(2) To the extent feasible, the guidelines in subsection (b) of this section
shall be printed by [State Use Industries] MARYLAND CORRECTIONAL
ENTERPRISES.
Article - Labor and Employment
9-221.
(a) A prisoner is a covered employee while the prisoner is:
(1) working for a board of county commissioners, a county council, or a
county roads board if:
(i) the county pays the prisoner a wage or stipulated sum; and
(ii) the prisoner sustains permanent partial or permanent total
disability or dies, as a result of an accidental personal injury; or
(2) engaged in work while under the supervision of [State Use
Industries] MARYLAND CORRECTIONAL ENTERPRISES in the Federal Prison Industry
Enhancement Program as provided in § 10-308(d) of the Correctional Services
Article.
Article - State Finance and Procurement
14-103.
The State or a State aided or controlled entity shall buy supplies and services
from:
(1) [State Use Industries] MARYLAND CORRECTIONAL ENTERPRISES,
as provided in Title 3, Subtitle 5 of the Correctional Services Article, if State Use
Industries provides the supplies or services;
