MUNICIPAL CHARTERS [Article III, Section C3-2 A(39) - (42) of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville,
Prince George's County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation
of Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2004 Supplement), repealed
and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date April 20, 2004]
ANNEXATION RESOLUTION 2004-04 A Resolution of the City Council of Hyattsville, Maryland enlarging the
corporate boundaries of the City of Hyattsville by annexing land contiguous to and
adjoining the existing corporate area of the City of Hyattsville, to wit, the area south
of University Boulevard and Campus Drive, east of Northwest Branch Stream and
west of certain lots on the east side of Adelphi Road, the area includes University
Hills, Graduate Hills, Merrien Blumberg property, St. Mark's Church and University
Baptist Church. (200.9194 acres of land; more or less) [Pursuant to Section C1-1 of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville, Prince
George's County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of
Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2004 Supplement). Effective Date September 2, 2004] Hyattsville Resolution 2005-02 CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HYATTSVILLE, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23 A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended), to amend the Charter of the said City, said
Charter being a part of the public local laws of Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended),
which Article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the City of Hyattsville,
Maryland, whereby the Mayor and City Council make technical changes to the Ward
descriptions of those wards on the City's boundary, to clarify that newly annexed
areas are within the Ward with which they are contiguous. [Article IV, Section C4-16 of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville, Prince
George's County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of
Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2004 Supplement), repealed and
