HYATTSVILLE Hyattsville Resolution 2003-20 CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HYATTSVILLE, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article HE of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended) to amend the Charter of the said city, so that
the City may extend the effective date of ordinances more than twenty (20) days
beyond the date of passage and may publish a fair summary of newly enacted
ordinances. [Article II, Section C2-9 of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville, Prince George's
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2004 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments. Effective Date March 25, 2003] Hyattsville Resolution 2003-21 CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HYATTSVILLE, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article HE of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended) to amend the Charter of the said city, by
amending Section C3-2 A(6) of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville, Maryland, to
delete unnecessary language, particularly references to publishing the complete text
of newly enacted ordinances. [Article III, Section C3-2 A(6) of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville, Prince
George's County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of
Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2004 Supplement), repealed and
reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date March 25, 2003] Hyattsville Resolution 2004-1 CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HYATTSVILLE, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article HE of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended) to amend the Charter of the said city, by
amending Section C3-2 A(39)-(42) of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville,
Maryland, to add specific language outlining the City's Urban Renewal Authority as
to individual properties and to specify that the City's authority as to all of its powers
may be exercised by ordinance, resolution or motion. - 5061 -
