(ii) Used to transport agricultural products, farm machinery, or
farm supplies to or from a farm; (iii) Not used in the operations of a common or contract motor
carrier; and (iv) Used within 150 miles of the person's farm; (2)     An emergency vehicle: (i) Equipped with audible and visual signals; and (ii) Operated by a member of or a person in the employ of a
volunteer or paid fire or rescue organization; (3)     A vehicle owned or operated by the United States Department of
Defense if it is controlled and operated by: (i) Any active duty military personnel; or (ii) Any member of the military reserves or National Guard on
active duty, including personnel on full-time National Guard duty and personnel on
part-time training; or (4)     A motor vehicle designed and constructed primarily to provide
temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, or travel use.] 16-102. (a) The licensing requirements of this title do not apply to: (1)     An officer or employee of the United States while driving on official
business a motor vehicle other than a commercial motor vehicle owned or operated by
the United States; (2)     Except for members elected from this State, a member of the United
States Congress who resides in this State during his term of office in the Congress; (3)     An individual while driving any road machine, farm tractor, or farm
equipment temporarily driven on a highway in this State, or dock equipment at
Dundalk or Locust Point marine terminals which does not require registration under
the provisions of this article; (4)     An individual who, while driving a mobile crane on a highway to or
from a construction site in this State, has with him a valid Class A, B, [C, or D] OR
C license issued to him under [§ 16-104] § 16-104.1 of this subtitle or a Class A or B
commercial driver's license issued to him under this title; (5)     A nonresident student enrolled in an accredited school, college, or
university of this State or of a bordering state or serving a medical internship in this
State, if: (i) The state of which the student is a resident extends the same
privileges to the residents of this State; - 4180 -
