Ch. 529 2005 LAWS OF MARYLAND
contribution made by an individual who serves as a trustee or member of the board of
directors OR AS AN OFFICER of a not-for-profit organization doing public business is
not attributable to the organization, and the individual is not required to report the
applicable contribution to the chief executive officer of the organization. [(2)] (3) This subsection does not apply if: (i) the applicable contribution is made on the recommendation of
the not-for-profit organization; or (ii) the individual described in paragraph [(1)] (2) of this subsection
is paid by the not-for-profit organization. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005. Approved May 26, 2005.

AN ACT concerning Real Property - Homeowners Associations - Electronic Payment Fees FOR the purpose of authorizing a homeowners association that governs a certain
development to charge a certain person an electronic payment fee if the person
elects to pay the homeowners association with a credit card or debit card;
limiting a certain electronic payment fee to a certain amount; requiring a
homeowners association to provide notice that an electronic payment fee will be
charged under certain circumstances; defining a certain term; and generally
relating to the authority of a homeowners association to charge an electronic
payment fee. BY renumbering Article - Real Property Section 11B-114 to be Section 11B-115 Annotated Code of Maryland (2003 Replacement Volume and 2004 Supplement) BY adding to Article - Real Property Section 11B-114 Annotated Code of Maryland (2003 Replacement Volume and 2004 Supplement) - 3100 -
