$32,000 to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Public
Interest Research Group, Inc. for the purchase of indoor and
outdoor recycling bins, to be located on McKeldin Mall and
Fraternity Row at the University of Maryland, College Park
(Prince George's County)................................................................. 32,000
(BP) World Arts Focus Community Arts Center. Provide a grant equal
to the lesser of (i) $175,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching
fund provided, to the Board of Directors of World Arts Focus,
Inc. for the planning, design, repair, renovation, and capital
equipping of the World Arts Focus Community Arts Center,
located in Mount Rainier. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this
Act, the matching fund may consist of real property or funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act (Prince George's
County)............................................................................................. 175,000
(BQ) Patuxent River Naval Air Museum and Visitors Center. Provide
a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $150,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Mary's County for the planning, design, construction,
renovation, reconstruction, and capital equipping of the
buildings and permanent exhibits of the Patuxent River Naval
Air Museum and Visitors Center, to be located adjacent to the
Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park (St. Mary's
County)............................................................................................. 150,000
(BR) Piney Point Lighthouse Museum. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $100,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the County Commissioners of St. Mary's County for
the planning, design, construction, repair, reconstruction, and
capital equipping of site improvements, parking, accessible
walkways, and museum exhibits for the Piney Point Lighthouse
Museum, located in Piney Point, subject to a requirement that
the grantee grant and convey an historical easement to the
Maryland Historical Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this
Act, the matching fund may consist of in kind contributions (St.
Mary's County)................................................................................ 100,000
(BS) Aspiring to Serve Community Shelter. Provide a grant equal to
the lesser of (i) $100,000 $85,000 or (ii) the amount, of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors of Aspiring to
Serve, Inc. for the construction and renovation of a building to
serve as a homeless shelter and rental space for nonprofit
organizations providing social services, located in Hagerstown.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may
