Ch. 445                                    2005 LAWS OF MARYLAND the County Executive and County Council of Howard County for
the renovation, reconstruction, and capital equipping of the
historic manor house known as Blandair Mansion and its
outbuildings, located on 300 acres on Maryland Route 175 in
Columbia, subject to a requirement that the grantee grant and
convey an historic easement to the Maryland Historical Trust
(Howard County).............................................................................              300,000 (AJ) North Laurel Community Center. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $204,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the County Executive and County Council of
Howard County for the planning, design, and site preparation of
the North Laurel Community Center, located in Howard
County (Howard County)...............................................................              204,000 (AK) Adventure Theatre. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$100,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of the Adventure Theatre, Inc. for
planning, design, construction, renovation, reconstruction, and
capital equipping of the Adventure Theatre, located in Glen
Echo. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching
fund may consist of in kind contributions or funds expended
prior to the effective date of this Act (Montgomery County)......              100,000 (AL) Aunt Hattie's Place. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$350,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund required, to
the Board of Directors of Aunt Hattie's Place, Inc. for the
acquisition, planning, design, construction, renovation, and
reconstruction of Aunt Hattie's Place, a nonprofit home for boys
in foster care, to be located in Montgomery County.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of real property or in kind contributions
(Montgomery County).....................................................................              350,000 (AM) Canal Boat at Great Falls Tavern. Provide a grant of $200,000
to the Board of Trustees of the Montgomery County Community
Foundation, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide
and expend a matching fund of $75,000, for the acquisition of a
double decker packet boat, to be located at Historic Great Falls
Tavern in Potomac (Montgomery County)....................................              200,000 (AN) Historic Takoma Museum. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of
(i) $50,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of Historic Takoma, Inc. for the
acquisition, planning, design, repair, renovation,
reconstruction, and capital equipping of a building to serve as a
museum for Historic Takoma, including office and meeting
space and facilities to house Historic Takoma's collection of
photographs and artifacts, located in Takoma Park.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund - 2476 -
