grant to the Board of Trustees of the Johns Hopkins Health
Systems System to prepare detailed plans and construct the
Pediatric Trauma Center at the Children's and Maternal
Health Center on the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Campus,
subject to the requirement that the grantee provide an equal
and matching fund. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
1(5) of the Act, the matching fund may consist of funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act (Baltimore City).
(0) Johns Hopkins Medicine - Cardiovascular and Critical Care
Tower. Provide a grant to the Board of Trustees of the Johns
Hopkins Health Systems System to prepare detailed plans and
construct the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Tower on the
Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Campus, subject to the
requirement that the grantee provide an equal and matching
fund. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 1(5) of this Act,
the matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Baltimore City)....................................
(P) Kennedy Krieger Institute - National Center for Advanced
Research in Developmental Disabilities. Provide a grant to the
Board of Directors of the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Inc. to
assist in the design, renovation, construction, and equipping of
a facility in Baltimore City for use as a National Center for
Advanced Research in Developmental Disabilities, subject to
the requirement that the grantee provide an equal and
matching fund for this purpose (Baltimore City).........................
(Q) Laurel Boys and Girls Club. Provide a grant to the Board of
Directors of the Laurel Boys and Girls Club, Inc. to assist in
making security improvements to the Edward Phelps
Community Center to serve the youth in Laurel—subject to a
requirement that the grantee grant and convey an historic
easement to the Maryland Historical Trust (Prince George's

(R) Lyric Opera House. Provide a grant to the Board of Trustees of
the Lyric Opera House Foundation, Inc. to assist in the
expansion of the stage house area of the Lyric Opera House and
improvements to the back stage rigging system and support
areas, subject to a requirement that the grantee grant and
convey an historic easement to the Maryland Historical Trust
(Baltimore City)..............................................................................
(S) Manhattan Park Apartments. Provide a grant to the Board of
Directors of Comprehensive Housing Assistance Inc. for the
renovation of the Manhattan Park Apartments and to redesign
the entrance to the site at 5715 Park Heights Avenue
