THIS SUBSECTION SHALL OCCUR ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 1 OF THE FOLLOWING
FISCAL YEAR TO ALLOW THE DEPARTMENT TO FULLY ACCOUNT FOR THE
COMMISSION'S DIRECT AND INDIRECT COSTS.
2-106.4.
(A) IN THIS SECTION, "COMMISSION" MEANS THE STATE REAL ESTATE
COMMISSION.
(B) IN CONSULTATION WITH THE COMMISSION, THE SECRETARY SHALL
ANNUALLY CALCULATE THE DIRECT AND INDIRECT COSTS ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE
COMMISSION.
(C) BEGINNING ON JULY 1, 2006 2007, THE COMMISSION SHALL ESTABLISH
FEES BASED ON THE CALCULATIONS PROVIDED BY THE SECRETARY UNDER THIS
SECTION.
(D) EACH FEE ESTABLISHED BY THE COMMISSION MAY NOT BE INCREASED
ANNUALLY BY MORE THAN 12.5% OF THE EXISTING AND CORRESPONDING FEE OF
THE COMMISSION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2005 2006.

AN ACT concerning
Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities - Quality of Care Oversight
FOR the purpose of changing the name of the Oversight Committee on Quality of
Care in Nursing Homes to the Oversight Committee on Quality of Care in
Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities; altering the membership of the
Oversight Committee; altering the duties of the Oversight Committee; altering
certain reporting requirements; requiring the Department of Human Resources
to provide staff support to the Oversight Committee; repealing a certain
termination provision; and generally relating to the quality of care in nursing
homes and assisted living facilities and the Oversight Committee on Quality of
Care in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities.
