ROBERT L. EHRLICH, JR., Governor                             Ch. 366 ON AN EXPENSE INCURRED BASIS UNDER HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES OR
CONTRACTS THAT ARE ISSUED OR DELIVERED IN THE STATE; AND
(II) HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE
HOSPITAL, MEDICAL, OR SURGICAL BENEFITS TO INDIVIDUALS OR CROUPS UNDER
CONTRACTS THAT ARE ISSUED OR DELIVERED IN THE STATE.
(2) AN ENTITY SUBJECT TO THIS SUBSECTION SHALL PROVIDE
COVERAGE FOR:
(I) TWO OFFICE VISITS TO A PHYSICIAN OR OTHER HEALTH CARE
PROVIDER DURING EACH 12 MONTH PERIOD FOR THE EVALUATION AND
TREATMENT OF AN INSURED OR ENROLLEE TO ASSIST THE INSURED OR ENROLLEE
TO CEASE THE USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS; AND
(II) TWO OFFICE VISITS TO A PHYSICIAN OR OTHER HEALTH CARE
PROVIDER DURING EACH 12 MONTH PERIOD FOR THE EVALUATION AND
MANAGEMENT OF A COURSE OF NICOTINE REPLACEMENT THERAPY PROVIDED TO
AN INSURED OR ENROLLEE UNDER SUBSECTION (B)(2)(II) OF THIS SECTION.
(3) AN ENTITY SUBJECT TO THIS SUBSECTION MAY NOT IMPOSE A
DIFFERENT COPAYMENT OR COINSURANCE REQUIREMENT FOR AN OFFICE VISIT TO
A PHYSICIAN OR OTHER HEALTH CARE PROVIDER FOR A PURPOSE DESCRIBED IN
PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS SUBSECTION THAN IS IMPOSED FOR ANY OTHER OFFICE
VISIT TO A PHYSICIAN OR OTHER HEALTH CARE PROVIDER
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall apply to all
policies, contracts, and health benefit plans issued, delivered, or renewed in the State
on or after October 1, 2005. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2005. Approved May 10, 2005.

(House Bill 316) AN ACT concerning Motor Vehicles - Low Speed Vehicles - Standards and Restrictions FOR the purpose of clarifying that the Motor Vehicle Administration may issue
certificates of title for, and register, certain low speed vehicles; providing for the
classification of low speed vehicles; establishing an annual registration fee for
low speed vehicles; requiring the application for registration of low speed
vehicles to be submitted electronically; requiring a licensed dealer of low speed
vehicles under certain circumstances to obtain a low speed vehicle registration
application from the vehicle's owner, collect registration fees, and transmit the - 1745 -
