ROBERT L. EHRLICH, JR., Governor                             Ch. 291 (iii) one representative from the Attorney General's Office a
Federally Qualified Health Center; (iv) two representatives from the Maryland Hospital Association,
one both of whom represents represent a community hospital; (v) one representative from the Medical Records Privacy
Commission; (vi) one representative from the Maryland/DC Collaborative for
Healthcare Information Technology; (vii) one representative from home health care; (viii) one representative from a medical laboratory; (ix) one representative two representatives from a nursing home or
long-term care facility; (x) one representative from the information technology field as it
relates to health care; (xi) one representative from the health insurance industry; (xii) one nonhospital-based licensed physician with expertise in the
subject matter; (xiii) one nonhospital-based psychiatrist; (xiv) one licensed dentist; (xiii) (xv) one licensed nurse; (xiv) (xvi) one licensed pharmacist; and (xv) xvii two consumer members. (c)      The members of the Task Force shall elect a chair from among the Task
Force's members. (d)     The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene shall provide staff for the
Task Force. (e)     A member of the Task Force: (1)     may not receive compensation; but (2)     is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State
Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget. (f)      The Task Force shall study electronic health records and the current and
potential expansion of electronic health record utilization in the State, including: (1)     electronic transfer; (2)     electronic prescribing; - 1507 -
