(III) ONE REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR
CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND FAMILIES, APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR THE MARYLAND
INSURANCE COMMISSIONER OR THE COMMISSIONER'S DESIGNEE;
(IV) A LOCAL SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS, APPOINTED
NOMINATED BY THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENTS ASSOCIATION OF
MARYLAND; AND
(V) THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS, APPOINTED BY THE COMMISSION: 1. A REPRESENTATIVE OF A SCHOOL BASED HEALTH
CLINIC;
1. ONE HEALTH CARE PROVIDER WHO PROVIDES SERVICES
IN A SCHOOL BASED COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER;
2. ONE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT 3. ONE NURSE PRACTITIONER; 4. ONE REPRESENTATIVE WITH EXPERIENCE IN
ADMINISTERING A SCHOOL BASED COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER; 5. ONE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MARYLAND ASSEMBLY ON
SCHOOL BASED HEALTH; AND
6. TWO ADULT CONSUMERS WHO HAVE RECEIVED SERVICES
THROUGH A SCHOOL BASED COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER.
2. A NURSE PRACTITIONER OR A PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT; AND 3. A CONSUMER. (2) THE COMMITTEE SHALL STUDY AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ON
METHODS TO EXPAND SCHOOL BASED COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINICS CENTERS TO
PROVIDE PRIMARY CARE SERVICES, SPECIALTY SERVICES, AND REFERRAL SERVICES
TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY.
(3) IN CONDUCTING THE STUDY REQUIRED UNDER PARAGRAPH (2) OF
THIS SUBSECTION, THE COMMITTEE SHALL IDENTIFY THE FOLLOWING
: (I) EVALUATE THE FEASIBILITY OF DEVELOPING A SCHEDULE
FOR PREMIUM PAYMENTS TO BE PAID BY INDIVIDUALS ACCESSING A

SCHOOL BASED COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINIC CENTER; (II) EVALUATE THE FEASIBILITY OF DEVELOPING A SCHEDULE
FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT TO BE PAID BY MANAGED CARE ORGANIZATIONS AND
PRIVATE INSURERS TO THE SCHOOL BASED COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINIC CENTER;
(III) IDENTIFY INSURANCE PAYMENTS OWED TO SCHOOL BASED
COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINICS CENTERS AND HOW MUCH OF THE PAYMENTS
SHOULD BE COLLECTED TO OFFSET ANY STATE SUBSIDY;
