ROBERT L. EHRLICH, JR., Governor                             Ch. 156 Annotated Code of Maryland (2001 Replacement Volume and 2005 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article - Estates and Trusts 2-108. (t) (1) The Chief Judge of the Court for Somerset County shall receive an
annual salary of [$1,900] $3,800 to be paid quarterly. (2)     Each of the associate judges of the Court for Somerset County shall
receive an annual salary of [$1,700] $3,400 to be paid quarterly. (3)     Each judge shall also receive a daily allowance for traveling expenses
of $34.50 for every day's attendance upon the sessions of the Court. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III, §
35 of the Maryland Constitution, this Act may not be construed to extend or apply to
the salary or compensation of the Chief Judge and associate judges of the Orphans'
Court for Somerset County in office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions
of this Act concerning the salary or compensation of the Chief Judge and associate
judges of the Orphans' Court of Somerset County shall take effect at the beginning of
the next following term of office. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006. Approved April 25, 2006.

(House Bill 103) AN ACT concerning State Board of Public Accountancy Fund FOR the purpose of establishing the State Board of Public Accountancy Fund as a
special, nonlapsing fund in the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation;
requiring that the Fund be used for certain purposes; providing for an audit of
the Fund; requiring the Secretary of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, or a
designee of the Secretary, to administer the Fund; requiring the Secretary, in
consultation with the State Board of Public Accountancy, to annually calculate
certain costs; authorizing the State Board of Public Accountancy to set certain
fees, based on certain calculations, beginning on a certain date; requiring the
Board to publish a certain fee schedule; repealing a provision of law requiring
the Board to pay certain money into the General Fund of the State; requiring
the Board to pay certain fees to the Comptroller beginning on a certain date;
