AN ORDINANCE concerning:
Zoning
FOR the purpose of repealing or altering certain definitions; modifying a certain
provision regarding a certain exception to the applicability of Article 27; making
certain changes to the requirements relating to zoning certificates of use;
allowing fences on lots without a principal structure; adding screening
requirements for outside storage; adding a certain setback requirement for an
open deck; adding a provision pertaining to the expansion of certain dwellings
under certain conditions; clarifying language for exemptions from certain height
limitations; adding a provision pertaining to exceptions to bulk regulations for
certain structures that are damaged or destroyed; adding or altering certain
provisions relating to certain waterfront lots: adding certain language
inadvertently omitted: revising certain parking space requirements for certain
categories of uses; repealing, adding, or altering certain provisions relating to
signs; prohibiting guest houses as accessory structures in residential districts;
adding or altering uses in various districts under certain circumstances; altering
certain bulk regulations in various districts; adding a provision pertaining to
certain conditions for a certain conditional use; clarifying and altering the
conditions for conditional and special exception uses; repealing, adding, and
altering certain provisions relating to commercial revitalization areas; clarifying
certain uses as allowed in the Parole Town Center Growth Management Area;
altering certain contents of administrative site plans; altering certain provisions
relating to the parking of commercial vehicles in residentially zoned districts;
altering certain fees; making certain stylistic, technical, and formatting changes
to the Zoning Article of the Anne Arundel County Code (1985, as amended); and
generally relating to zoning.
BY repealing:
Article 27, §§ 27-1-101(23) and (24); 27-3-301(b); 27-3-308; 27-3-310;
27-3-311; 27-10-122; and 27-14-302; and 27-17-103 (all as amended by
Bill No. 4-05)

through (110) to be § 27-1-101(23) through (108), and § 27-1-101(111)

27-2-304; § 27-3-301(c) through (h) to be § 27-3-301(b) through (g); §
