AN ORDINANCE concerning:
Personnel - Classified and Exempt Service; Deferred Compensation Plan
FOR the purpose of adding certain definitions related to reclassifying positions by the
use of proficiency advancement; clarifying certain provisions related to the
powers and duties of the Personnel Officer and position control; creating and
amending minimum qualifications and class titles for certain classes; amending
certain provisions related to leave carryover and pay out provisions for Deputy
Sheriff II employees, health insurance benefits, and deferred compensation
benefits; and generally relating to the classified service.
BY repealing:
Article 8, §§ l-201(b)(306) and 2-102(b)(1)(xiii)
Anne Arundel County Code (1985, as amended)
BY renumbering:
Article 8, §§ 1-101(o) through (v); l-201(b)(178A), (178B), and (307) through
(318A), and 2-102(b)(l)(xiv) through (xlv) to be §§ l-101(q) through (x);
l-201(b)(177), (178A), and (305) through (318); and 2-102(b)(l)(xiii)
through (xliv). respectively
