Ch. 46 2006 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(BO) Glenarden City Hall Renovation. Provide a grant of $150,000 to
the Mayor and City Council of the City of Glenarden for the
design, repair and renovation of the Glenarden City Hall,
located in Glenarden, subject to a requirement that grantee
provide and expend a matching fund of $100,000.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may
consist of in kind contributions (Prince George's County)............ 150,000
(BP) Hard Bargain Farm Environmental Center. Provide a grant
equal to the lesser of (i) $225,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors of the Alice
Ferguson Foundation, Inc. for the planning, design, acquisition,
construction, repair, renovation, reconstruction, and capital
equipping of improvements to the Potomac River Habitat Study
Complex at Hard Bargain Farm Environmental Center, located
in Accokeek, subject to a requirement that the grantee grant and
convey a historic easement to the Maryland Historical Trust.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may
consist of real property, in kind contributions or funds expended
prior to the effective date of this Act (Prince George's County).... 225,000
(BQ) Henson Valley Montessori School. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $200,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Trustees of the Henson Valley
Montessori School, Inc. for the planning, design, construction,
and capital equipping of a new Henson Valley Montessori
School, located in Upper Marlboro (Prince George's County)...... 200,000
(BR) Laurel Armory Anderson Murphy Community Center. Provide a
grant equal to the lesser of (i) $100,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Laurel for the renovation, reconstruction, and capital
equipping of the Laurel Armory Anderson Murphy Community
Center, located in Laurel, subject to a requirement that the
grantee grant and convey a historic easement to the Maryland
Historical Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Prince George's County)........................ 100,000
(BS) McGuire House Senior Public Housing Development. Provide a
grant of $450,000 to the County Executive and County Council of
Prince George's County for the planning, design, construction,
renovation, reconstruction, and capital equipping of the
McGuire House Senior Public Housing Development, located in
Oxon Hill (Prince George's County)............................................... 450,000
(BT) Mt. Rainier Multi-Use Facility. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $150,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Mayor and City Council of the City of Mt.
Rainier for the planning, design, construction, and capital
