S.B. 352 VETOES

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have
vetoed Senate Bill 352 - Maryland Consolidated Capital Bond Loan of 2005 - Prince
George's County - South County Sports and Technology Learning Complex.
This bill amends the Maryland Consolidated Capital Bond Loan of 2005 to change the
name of the grantee for the South County Sports and Technology Learning Complex
from the Advisory Committee Group for the South County Sports and Technology
Learning Complex to the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission.
House Bill 1607, which was passed by the General Assembly and allowed to go into
effect without my signature, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not
necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 352.

AN ACT concerning

- South County Sports and Technology Learning Complex
FOR the purpose of amending the Maryland Consolidated Capital Bond Loan of 2005
to change the name of the grantee for the South County Sports and Technology
Learning Complex from the Advisory Committee Group for the South County
Sports and Technology Learning Complex to the Maryland-National Capital
Park and Planning Commission.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 445 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2005

MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

MARYLAND, That:
(3) ZA02 LOCAL SENATE INITIATIVES
(BM) South County Sports and Technology Learning Complex.
Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $150,000 or (ii) the
amount of the matching fund provided, to the [Advisory
Committee Group for the South County Sports and
Technology Learning Complex] MARYLAND-NATIONAL
CAPITAL PARK AND PLANNING COMMISSION for the
planning, design, construction, and capital equipping of the
