effective date of this Act (Montgomery County)........................... 250,000
(F) Great Blacks in Wax Museum. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $350,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of the Great Blacks in Wax
Museum, Inc. for the acquisition, demolition, planning, design,
construction, repair, renovation, expansion, reconstruction,
capital exhibit design, and capital equipping of properties along
East North Avenue for use as part of the Great Blacks in Wax
Museum and associated facilities. Notwithstanding Section 1(5)
of this Act, the matching fund may consist of real property, in
kind contributions, or funds expended prior to the effective date
of this Act (Baltimore City)............................................................ 350,000
(G) Maryland Historical Society. Provide a grant equal to the lesser
of (i) $250,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided,
to the Board of Trustees of The Maryland Historical Society,
Inc. for the renovation and reconstruction of the library and
garage, and for the planning, design, construction, and capital
equipping of a textile gallery and multipurpose classroom at the
Maryland Historical Society, located in Baltimore City, subject
to a requirement that the grantee grant and convey a historic
easement to the Maryland Historical Trust. Notwithstanding
Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may consist of funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act (Baltimore City). 250,000
(H) Maryland State Fairgrounds. Provide a grant equal to the lesser
of (i) $350,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided,
to the Board of Directors of the Maryland State Fair and
Agricultural Society, Inc. for the planning, design, construction,
and capital equipping of a new exhibit building, located in
Timonium (Baltimore County)....................................................... 350,000
(I) Olney Theatre Center Campus. Provide a grant of $250,000 to
the Board of Directors of the Olney Theatre Center for the Arts,
Inc. for the acquisition, construction, and capital equipping of
the Olney Theatre Center for the Arts, located in Olney
(Montgomery County)..................................................................... 250,000
(J) Strathmore Hall. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$250,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the County Executive and County Council of Montgomery
County for the construction and capital equipping of a
multi-use performing arts center and educational facility on the
grounds of Strathmore Hall, located in Bethesda.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of funds expended prior to the effective date of this
Act (Montgomery County).............................................................. 250,000
(K) Waxter Center for Senior Citizens. Provide a grant equal to the
