Ch. 46 2006 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(Q) Prince George's Hospital Center. Provide a grant to the County
Executive and County Council of Prince George's County for
critical infrastructure needs at the Prince George's Hospital
Center (Prince George's County)................................................... 4,000,000
(R) North Hagerstown High School Stadium. Provide a grant equal
to the lesser of (i) $250,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching
fund provided, to the Board of Directors of the North
Hagerstown High School Athletic Boosters, Inc. for the
construction of a stadium at North Hagerstown High School,
located in Hagerstown (Washington County)............................... 250,000
(S) Maryland State Fairgrounds. Provide a grant equal to the lesser
of (i) $150,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided,
to the Board of Directors of the Maryland State Fair and
Agricultural Society, Inc. for the planning, design, construction,
and capital equipping of a new exhibit building, located in
Timonium (Baltimore County)....................................................... 150,000
(T) Annapolis Underground Wiring. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $600,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Mayor and City Council of the City of Annapolis
to assist in the construction and equipping of underground
utilities in the City of Annapolis. Notwithstanding Section 1(5)
of this Act, the matching fund may consist of funds expended
prior to the effective date of this Act (Anne Arundel County)...... 600,000
(U) Prince George's County Courthouse - Duvall Wing. Provide a
grant equal to the lesser of (i) $1,000,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the County Executive and County
Council of Prince George's County for the construction, repair,
renovation, reconstruction, and capital equipping of the Duvall
Wing of the Prince George's County Courthouse, located in Upper
Marlboro (Prince George's County)................................................ 1,000,000
(V) Worcester County Development Center. Provide a grant of
$1,500,000 to the Board of County Commissioners of Worcester
County for the planning, design, construction, and capital
equipping of the Worcester County Development Center, located
in Berlin (Worcester County).......................................................... 1,500,000
(W) Baltimore Child Abuse Center. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $250,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Child Abuse
Center, Inc. for the acquisition, construction, renovation, repair,
and capital equipping of the Baltimore Child Abuse Center,
located in Baltimore City, subject to a requirement that the
grantee grant and convey a historic easement to the Maryland
Historical Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of real property or funds expended
