AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County - Alcoholic Beverages - Additional Licenses
PG 318-06
FOR the purpose of increasing the maximum number of Class B (beer and light wine),
Class B (beer, wine and liquor), Class BCE (beer, wine, and liquor), and Class
BH (beer, wine and liquor) licenses authorized to be issued in Prince George's
County; providing that the additional Class B licenses authorized by this Act
and issued under State law do not confer off-sale privileges; and generally
relating to alcoholic beverages licenses in Prince George's County.
BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
9-217.
(a) This section applies only in Prince George's County.
(b) The number of licenses of each class of alcoholic beverage licenses may not
exceed the following maximum amounts:
(6) Beer and light wine license, Class B...................................... [38] 45
(12) Beer, wine and liquor license, Class B............................... [170] 185
(13) Beer, wine and liquor license, Class BCE.................................. [3] 8
(15) Beer, wine and liquor license, Class BH................................ [20] 25
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That an additional Class B
license authorized by this Act and issued under Article 2B, § 9-217 of the Code does
not confer off-sale privileges.
