CHAPTER 530
(Senate Bill 656)
AN ACT concerning
Harford County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses - Residency Requirement
for Applicants
FOR the purpose of altering the residency requirement for applicants for alcoholic
beverages licenses in Harford County; and generally relating to alcoholic
beverages licenses in Harford County.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 10-104(n)
Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
10-104.
(n) In Harford County, an applicant for an alcoholic beverage license shall be a
bona fide resident [at the time of] FOR AT LEAST 1 YEAR BEFORE filing the
application and shall remain a resident as long as the license is in effect, but does not
have to be a registered voter.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006.
