AN ACT concerning
Baltimore City - Special Traffic Enforcement Officers - Jurisdiction and
Requirements
FOR the purpose of altering the jurisdiction of special traffic enforcement officers of
Baltimore City; limiting the circumstances under which a special traffic
enforcement officer in Baltimore City may exercise certain authority: requiring
special traffic enforcement officers in Baltimore City to take an accredited
conflict resolution training course: requiring the Police Commissioner of
Baltimore City to keep certain records; and generally relating to the jurisdiction
of special traffic enforcement officers of Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 4 - Baltimore City
16-16C.
(c) The Commissioner shall keep a record, of:
(1) special traffic enforcement officer appointments; AND
(2) THE COMPLETION OF AN ACCREDITED CONFLICT RESOLUTION
TRAINING COURSE BY EACH SPECIAL TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
