Ch. 508 2006 LAWS OF MARYLAND
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Transportation
21-1003.
(a) The provisions of this section apply except as necessary to avoid conflict
with other traffic or in compliance with law or the directions of a police officer or
traffic control device.
(e) A person may not stop, stand, or park a vehicle on a crosswalk.
(n) (1) THIS SUBSECTION DOES NOT APPLY IN BALTIMORE CITY.
(2) A person may not stand or park a vehicle within 20 feet of a
crosswalk at an intersection.
The Charter of Baltimore City
Article II - General Powers
The Mayor and City Council of Baltimore shall have full power and authority to
exercise all of the powers heretofore or hereafter granted to it by the Constitution of
Maryland or by any Public General or Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland;
and in particular, without limitation upon the foregoing, shall have power by
ordinance, or such other method as may be provided for in its Charter, subject to the
provisions of said Constitution and Public General Laws:

TO REGULATE THE DISTANCE FROM A CROSSWALK AT AN INTERSECTION IN
BALTIMORE CITY WITHIN WHICH A PERSON MAY NOT STAND OR PARK A VEHICLE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2006.

AN ACT concerning
Legislative Community Initiatives Loan of 2004 - Baltimore City - Carroll
Mansion Museum
FOR the purpose of amending the Legislative Community Initiatives Loan of 2004 to
extend the date by which the Board of Directors of the Carroll Museums, Inc.
must present evidence to the Board of Public Works that a matching fund will be
provided for the Carroll Mansion Museum project; and generally relating to the
