          On the day and date aforesaid M.r Livin Denwood Sen.r Came
       before us the subscribers and solemnly did attest and affirm being
       what Passes as an oath by the People called Quakers he being one
       That upon a Resurvey which was made about forty five years agoe by
       George Johnson who at that time was the Survey.r of Somersett County that
       an old Black Gunn when he was then at (with the Topp blown off
       which stands about forty paces from the Edge of Bank by a Marsh side
       which is opposite to M.r Randolph Revells Brick house which Visibly
       appear to have four Four Notches upon the North side of the said Tree and
       four on the South side the East and west sides of the Said Tree being decayed
       that the Notches could not be so easily Pceived  That the Said Tree when
       the said Tract of Land called Wolfsford containing seven hundred
       Acres belonging to M.r Roger Woolford lying on the Noth side of Monocan
       in Somersett County afd was Deemed to be the Tree that Divided the
       aforesaid Tract of Land from the Land of M.r William Bosman Sen.r  And
       M.r John Bosman Sen.r being Present at the said Tree at the time M.r
       Livin Denwood Sen.r gave his Evidence said he Clamed no land above
       the said Tree and M.r Roger Wolford being likewise Present said he
       Claimed no Land below the Said Tree and the better to ascertain to Posterity
       where the Said Tree stood In the Presence of M.r Roger Wolford and
       M.r John Bosman Wee caused a Sapling Hickory to be marked with four
       Notches on the North side and four on the South which stands about
       four upon the North side of the Said black Gum

          To the Truth of what is above written Wee doe hereby sett our hands and
       afix our seales the day and year above mentioned
