874 Ninian Beale of Prince Georges County Mary Gold.a and W.m Whittington of Calvert County and have taken their Severall Depositions on the holy Evangelist and have reduced the same into writeing under our hands and seales as hereunto Annext this 12.th day of September Anno Dm 1712 The Deposition of John Lawsell of Calvert County Aged sixty year or thereabouts who being Deposed upon the holy Evangelist declares as followeth that the third Corner Tree of Goodluck was a hickory and that the Said Hickory stood so near to old Richard Stallinss old dwelling house that he the Said Deponent could putt his back against the tree and soe into the door of the said Stallingss house and farther the Said Deponent saith that the bounded hiccory which stands by the Path side that John Ross would have to be the bounded Tree hiccory of goodluck this Dep.ot saith is not the bounded hiccory of Goodluck and further saith not W.m Turner (S) George Young (S) The Deposition of Mary Gold.a Aged fifty year or thereabouts who being deposed upon the holy Evangelist declares as followeth that about Twenty four year agoe she the Said Deponent was at the house of Thomas Horner & at the time this Deponent was there Cap.t Coberash Came to the house of the said Horner and said Thomas Horner I understood that your say that you have not your quantity of Land but again said Cap.t Coberoth to Thomas Horner here Thomas Goe here on this Leavell before your Door and Clear out there and if anybody is greived thereat lett them Runn out Robersons Rest and You'l have your Land And further the said Deponent saith that she was one day comeing by old Richard Stallines in Company with said Horner and she heard said Horner forwarne said Stallines from Clearing into the Land of hitchcock Children and at the same time this Dep.o saith that said Horner said that old Knave Stallens Cleared the poor orphans Land Which Land was near to the house of old Rich.d Stallines And further saith not W.m Turner (S) George Young (S) The Deposition of M.r John Leach of Calvert County Aged fifty year or thereab.ts who being Deposed upon the holy Evangelist Declares as followeth that about Twenty four or Twenty five years agoe Old Francis Bellensly told him the said Deponent that he the Said Bellensley did Shippout the Notches of a bounded Chestnutt by the order of Major Trueman who was then Survey.r which he the said Survey.r said he had bounded for the |
