       of said Hynson asked him how he should find it told him that the first
       bounder was a Hickory and that it stood on a point by the River
       side and that he thinks told him of a Small Pland that lyes at the
       mouth of the Little Creeke as Expressed before me and that the Lower
       Tract tooke in the said Creeke and Referred the Depon.t to M.r Mabury
       and M.r Hutchinson to shew him it which upon his application to
       them they came and shewed the Said Tree to the Depon.t which the
       Deponent understood from said Hynson that they knew the said to
       to be his bounder the Deponents Discouse with the said Hynson was
       about Fifteen Sixteen or Seventeen Years agoe  And further y.e Depon.t
       saith not

             The same day and Place  Came Phillip Lewing (his age I forgott
       to take an account of but I beleive about sixty Years of Age)
       and saith being sworne on the holy Evangelist that he knoweth
       nothing of the Said tree or bounds of said land and that to his
       knowledge he never see said Tree before & further saith not

                                        Anthony Wise his Depotions
           By Virtue of a Comission out of her Majestys high Court of Chancery to us
       Directed bearing date the third day of this Instant March Impowering
       us to Examine Evidences touching a Certain Deed or Conveyance made p
       and from John Clements unto Christopher Wise

                Wee humbly Certifye that on Tuesday y.e 17.th of said Mouth we caused
       to come before us Caleb Eastgate and Abigell Wise who deposeth on the holy
       evangelists as followeth

                Caleb Eastgate aged seventy two years or thereabouts Swears that about
       38 years agoe he saw John Clements acknowledge to Christopher Wise a
       Conveyance or deed of sale of a Tract of Land called Sheepshead point
       and that he well remembers M.r Vaughan (who was Clk of Talbott County
       at that time brought to the house of the said Christopher the said Deed
       after the Acknowledgement

                  And he further on his oath Saith that the Said Clements had (before) sold the s.d
       Land to one Christopher Peck who not being able or willing to pay for the said
       Land twas afterwards sold to the Said Wise who paid the said Peck 2800. Tobacco
