               Patrick Maggatee Aged sixty years or thereabouts declares
       on the holy Evangelist that about sixteen years since Francis Adams late of
       Charles County told this Depon.t that he was with M.r Rich.d Edelen the then
       Survey.r of Charles County at the takeing up of the abovesaid Tract of Land for
       M.r Jerome White and that the said Survey.r ordered him the said Adams to bound
       this White Oake whereon this Depon.t now lays his hand for the Beginning
       bounded Tree of the above said Tract  And the said Tree stands by a Branch
       between two springs and about thirty Yards Distant from one of the said
       springs and about thirty two yards from the other  And that ever since this
       Depon.t knew these parts the said Tree was Reputed by all that knew it
       to be the beginning bounded Tree of the said Tract of Land called Whites
       Ford  And further saith not

       Hutchins called Stockeley; Pursuant thereunto Wee have called before
       us John Tauman aged seaventy years or thereabouts  He being sworne      
       upon the holy Evangelist comeing to a bounded white oake standing
       upon a point at the mouth of Hunting Creek and declared that Eight
       and forty Years agoe or thereabouts that John Hannat John Winnall
       John Daniel William Allinge (all which said persons Were servants
