Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 120.
This bill continues the existence of the State Board of
Examiners for Audiologists in accordance with the Regulatory
Programs Evaluation Act of 1978 beyond July 1, 1984 to July 1,
1994.
Senate Bill 80, which was passed by the General Assembly and
signed by me on May 10, 1983, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 120.

AN ACT concerning
State Board of Examiners for Audiologists
FOR the purpose of continuing the existence of the State Board of
Examiners for Audiologists in accordance with the Program
Evaluation Act (Sunset Law) by extending to a certain date
the termination provisions relating to the statutory and
regulatory authority of the Board.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 2-502
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1981 Volume and 1982 Supplement)
