Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 113.
This bill continues the existence of the Apprenticeship and
Training Council in accordance with the Regulatory Programs
Evaluation Act of 1978.
Senate Bill 538, which was passed by the General Assembly
and signed by me on May 10, 1983, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 113.

AN ACT concerning
Apprenticeship and Training Council
FOR the purpose of continuing the existence of the Apprenticeship
and Training Council in accordance with the Program
Evaluation Act (Sunset Law) by extending to a certain date
the termination provisions of the Council.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 89 - Division of Labor and Industry
Section 50A
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1979 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)
