AN ACT concerning
Calvert County - Purchase Contracts
FOR the purpose of requiring the County Commissioners of Calvert
County to publish in a certain number of county newspapers,
for a certain period of time, the reasons for any emergency
contract action by the County Commissioners; altering
certain notice requirements; altering certain requirements
relating to county expenditures subject to bid procedures;
making certain stylistic changes; and generally relating to
emergency contract procedures in Calvert County.

(1) (5) THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION DO NOT APPLY IN
CALVERT COUNTY. IN CALVERT COUNTY, COMPETITIVE BIDDING SHALL BE
REQUIRED FOR CONTRACTS IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT SPECIFIED IN THE
CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF CALVERT COUNTY.
