Section 12-623(a)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1975 Volume and 1982 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article - Commercial Law 12-623. (a) If an agreement on which the finance charge is computed
in advance so provides, the holder of the agreement may collect a
delinquency or collection charge of the lesser of [$5] $20 $10 or
5 percent of the amount of any payment in default, if the default
has continued for at least 10 days. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983. Approved May 10, 1983.
CHAPTER 211 (House Bill 448) AN ACT concerning Employment - Wages - Agricultural Employees FOR the purpose of requiring that certain employees engaged in
agriculture receive one and one-half times the usual hourly
wage for time worked in excess of a certain number of hours;
and correcting an error. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 100 - Work, Labor and Employment Section 83(3)(j) Annotated Code of Maryland (1979 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
