SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
209.
(C) IN THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS, THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN MAY
REGULATE WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS THE POSSESSION OR CONSUMPTION OF
ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON ANY PUBLIC PROPERTY, PROPERTY USED BY
THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL, OWNED BY THE CITY OR ON ANY PUBLIC
HIGHWAY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
