AN ACT concerning
Division of Labor and Industry
FOR the purpose of continuing the existence of the Division of
Labor and Industry in accordance with the Regulatory
Programs Evaluation Act of 1978 (Sunset Law) by extending to
a certain date the termination provisions for the Division.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 89 - Division of Labor and Industry

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 89 - Division of Labor and Industry
2B.
The provisions of this article creating the Division of
Labor and Industry and related to the regulation of labor and
industry are of no effect and may not be enforced after July 1,
[1983] 1993.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.
