CHAPTER 151
(Senate Bill 708)
AN ACT concerning
Racing - Sundays
FOR the purpose of permitting a certain racetrack to conduct
racing on Sundays during the operation of the 1983 Maryland
State Fair.

|
|
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That during the operation of the Maryland State Fair of
1983 the Maryland State Fair and Agricultural Society,
Incorporated may conduct racing on Sundays.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

CHAPTER 152
(Senate Bill 710)
AN ACT concerning
Central Collection Unit - Claims
FOR the purpose of qualifying the exceptions to the central
collection unit's responsibilities by providing that claims
within the excepted case categories may be assigned to the
unit for collection by agreement between the Secretary of
the Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning and the State
agency otherwise responsible for collection of the claim.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
