convict may direct payment to be made, or said payment may be
made to the wife or children or other person or persons,
dependent upon said convict if found to be in need by the said
Board of Correction]. THE DIVISION OF CORRECTION SHALL HOLD
THESE PAYMENTS TO THE CREDIT OF EACH CONVICT UNDER APPLICABLE LAW
AND REGULATIONS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

(Senate Bill 689)
AN ACT concerning
Harford County - Alcoholic Beverages
FOR the purpose of providing that the Harford County liquor board
may issue a "club and organization license" to certain
racquetball clubs and museums with gardens; providing that
the racquetball club must have a certain number of courts at
the time of application and must continue to maintain a
certain number of courts; providing that this license may be
issued to various clubs whether or not operated for profit;
generally relating to the establishment of a "club and
organization license" for racquetball clubs in Harford
County; deleting obsolete provisions; and making technical
changes.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
20.
(h-2) (1) In Harford County, the liquor board may issue a
[six] 6 day, Monday through Saturday, "club and organization
license" covering "on-sales" of beer, wine and liquor to the
members and the guests of these clubs and organizations.
