(c) The organization, corporation, or volunteer fire
company desiring to conduct or operate a game of bingo under the
provisions of this section shall first obtain a permit therefor
from the Board of County Commissioners of Carroll County and
shall pay a fee to be determined by the Board of County
Commissioners to defray the cost of issuing such a permit.
(d) No such bingo game shall award a cash prize in excess
of [twenty dollars ($20.00)] $50 to any player of a bingo game,
except that the award of a "jackpot" in an amount not to exceed
[three hundred dollars ($300.00)] $500 is allowed when directly
connected with the playing of bingo games.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

(Senate Bill 610)
AN ACT concerning
Vehicle Equipment - Tire Protuberances
FOR the purpose of providing that tires with certain
protuberances may be used on vehicles in this State at
certain times; repealing at limit prohibition against the
sale of certain tires; repealing a certain exemption; and
clarifying language.
FOR the purpose of providing that tires with certain
protuberances may be used on vehicles in a certain
additional county in this State at certain times; providing
for the sale of certain tires in a certain additional county
in this State; and clarifying language.
