AN ACT concerning
Garrett County - State's Attorney's Office - Investigators
FOR the purpose of providing for the creation of the position of
State's Attorney's investigator in Garrett County; providing
for the appointment and supervision of the investigators;
providing for their powers and duties; providing for the
confidentiality of the information obtained by
investigators; providing the minimum qualifications for the
position of State's Attorney's investigator; and generally
relating to the position of State's Attorney's investigator
in Garrett County.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 10 - Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact
Section 40(1)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 10 - Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact
40.
(1) In Garrett County:
(1) [the] THE position of State's Attorney is
full-time and the salary is $34,000.
(2) The State's Attorney's allowance for postage,
office and travel expenses is a minimum of $6,000. However, any
amount in excess of $6,000 shall be at the discretion of the
Board of County Commissioners.
