SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 56 - Licenses
224B.
It is unlawful for a broker licensee to lend his license to
a salesman or unlicensed person or to permit a salesman or
unlicensed person to operate as a broker. A broker licensee must
exercise reasonable and adequate supervision over the activities
of his salesmen, REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF WORK RELATIONSHIP
EXISTING BETWEEN THE BROKER, ASSOCIATE BROKER, AND SALESMEN,
WHETHER IT BE THAT OF EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR,
OR OTHERWISE. The Commission may, if it finds a violation of
this section, revoke or suspend any license issued under this
subtitle.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

Maryland Training School For Boys
Citizen's Advisory Committee
FOR the purpose of providing for the appointment of a Maryland
Training School for Boys Citizen's Advisory Committee;
prescribing certain powers and duties of the committee; and
providing that this committee shall be subject to the Sunset
Provisions of Article 41, Sections 484 through 489.
