(16) A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CHEMICAL MANUFACTURER'S
ASSOCIATION;
(17) 3 MEMBERS OF THE MARYLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE;
(18) A REPRESENTATIVE OF A MAJOR MEDICAL INSTITUTION
IN THE STATE; AND
(19) AN EX OFFICIO, NONVOTING REPRESENTATIVE OF THE
STATE LAW DEPARTMENT.
(C) THE GOVERNOR SHALL APPOINT THE MEMBERS OF THE STUDY
COMMISSION AND SHALL DESIGNATE 1 OF ITS MEMBERS TO BE THE
CHAIRMAN.
(D) THE GOVERNOR SHALL ARRANGE TO HAVE STAFF SUPPORT
PROVIDED TO THE STUDY COMMISSION.
(E) THE MEMBERS OF THE STUDY COMMISSION MAY NOT RECEIVE
COMPENSATION FOR THEIR SERVICES, BUT MAY BE REIMBURSED FOR PROPER
AND NECESSARY EXPENSES INCURRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STANDARD STATE
TRAVEL REGULATIONS.
(F) THE STUDY COMMISSION SHALL FILE ITS FINAL REPORT AND
PROPOSED LEGISLATION WITH THE GOVERNOR AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY NO
LATER THAN JANUARY 1, 1984.
(G) THE STUDY COMMISSION SHALL TERMINATE ON JANUARY 1,
1984.

SECTION -4- 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1983.

AN ACT concerning
Real Estate Brokers - Supervisory Duties
FOR the purpose of providing that a real estate broker must
exercise reasonable and adequate supervision over all of the
broker's salesmen, regardless of the type of work
relationship existing between the broker and the salesmen.
