SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 2 - FISCAL YEAR 1984

Mr. President, Mr. Speaker, Ladies and Gentlemen
of the General Assembly:
Pursuant to the authority conferred on me by Article III,
Section 52, Sub-section (5) of the Constitution of Maryland, and
in accordance with the consent of the (State Senate) - (House of
Delegates), duly granted, I hereby submit a further supplement to
the original budget for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1984.
Amendment No. 1.
On line 191 of the printed bill, strike in their entirety
lines 2, 3, and 4 and insert in lieu thereof "amounts of those
appropriations contained in Section 1 of this bill and listed
below shall be contingent upon legislative action making
available general funds in the amount of $47,880,000 through (a)
increasing General Fund Revenues from taxes, and/or (b) action on
the budget resulting in reduced appropriations for programs
therein, and/or (c) transfers of unpledged Transportation Trust
Funds to the General Fund, and/or (d) a combination of actions
(a), (b) and (c) above:".
