38 LAWS OF MARYLAND
all other laws relating to the health and safety of [employes]
EMPLOYEES in such establishment have been fully complied with,
and unless every such loft, workshop or factory sought to be
licensed shall contain at least five hundred cubic feet of air
space for every person employed therein. 344. (a) In any indictment, information, warrant, or other
charging document for theft it is sufficient to use a formula substantially to the following effect: "That A-B on the ..... day of ...................., 19..., in the County (City) aforesaid, did steal (here specifying the property or services stolen) of
C-D, having a value of (less than $300 or $300 OR greater) in
violation of Article 27, Section 342, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland; contrary to the form of the Act of Assembly in such
case made and provided, and against the peace, government and
dignity of the State." 413. (e) As used in this section, the following terms have the
meanings indicated unless a contrary meaning is clearly intended
from the context in which the term appears: (1) The terms "defendant" and "person[,"]", except as
those terms appear in subsection (d)(7) OF THIS SECTION, include
only a principal in the first degree. 534W-1. [(a)] The provisions of § 534W of this article do not apply
to: (1)  Any establishment which offers service as its
primary business; (2)  Any business if it does not have more than six
employees on any one shift on Sunday. In addition to these six
persons, the business may also have two additional persons
performing security duties; (3)  Any person who by reason of his religious
conviction observes a day other than Sunday as his day of rest
and actually refrains from labor or secular business on that day.
The term "a day other than Sunday" as used herein shall mean any
consecutive 24-hour period; (4)   Industries where continuous processing or
manufacturing is required by the very nature of the process
involved; (5)  The four consecutive Sundays that immediately
precede December 25;
