AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 11B, title, "Contracts,
Procurement Matters and Public Ethics", of the Montgomery County
Code, 1972, as amended, to add a new Section 11B-44A, titled
"Sale and Leaseback of Buses" to provide that the County
Executive shall have the authority on behalf of the County to
enter into agreements to sell and leaseback any of its Ride-On
buses, and to provide that public notice shall be given of the
transaction.
Effective Date February 16, 1982.

BILL NO. 9-82
AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 52, title "Taxation" of
the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, to add a new Section
52-18C, titled "Residential Real Property Tax Deferral" to
provide that taxpayers who own and occupy residential property
may defer certain County real property taxes in an amount
attributable to an assessment increase resulting directly from a
government-initiated change in the zoning classification of the
property to a higher intensity use; and to provide procedures for
the administration of the deferral program.
Effective Date June 23, 1982.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 13, title "Detention
Centers and Rehabilitation Facilities", of the Montgomery County
Code 1972, as amended, by repealing and reenacting with
amendments Section 13-9, title "Same-Medical Care", to provide
that a medical examination shall be administered to an inmate
within fourteen (14) days after admission.
Effective Date April 2, 1982
