TRAPPE
COMMISSIONERS OF TRAPPE A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF TRAPPE, MARYLAND
ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY OF ARTICLE XI-E OF THE
CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND AMD ARTICLE 23A OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND: TO REPEAL AND REENACT THE CHARTER OF
THE TOWN OF TRAPPE AS SET FORTH IN ARTICLE 6 OF THE CODE OF
PUBLIC LAWS OF MARYLAND (1965 EDITION AS AMENDED). [Section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Talbot County,
repealed, and Sections 101 through 808 of the Charter of the Town
of Trappe, Talbot County, added. Effective Date February 25, 1982]
RESOLUTION NO.. 1-82 WHEREAS, a petition for annexation of land adjacent and
contiguous to part of the existing easterly corporate boundary of
the Town of Trappe has been filed by Dorothy J. Schwaninger,
pursuant to Section 19, Article 23A, Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957); and WHEREAS, the Town Council of Trappe has verified that the
area proposed to be annexed pursuant to said petition is in fact
contiguous and adjacent to the existing corporate area; that
Petitioner is (i) the owner of over 25% of the assessed valuation
of the real property to be annexed as required by Section 19,
Article 23A, Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Repl. Vol.); and
(ii) that Petitioner is a registered voter in County elections;
and (iii) that no persons reside in the area to be annexed. [Pursuant to sections of the Charter of the Town of Trappe,
Talbot County. Effective Date February 24, 1983]
UNIVERSITY PARK (Prince George's County) LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION NO. 2-82 Resolution and Ordinance of the Town of University Park,
Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Sections 12 and 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland to amend Article III, Section
304(a) by repealing and reenacting Section 304(a) to provide for
the calling of special meetings by the Mayor with the consent of
a majority of the Common Council.
