SNOW HILL
Hill, a municipal corporation of the State of Maryland (the
"Town"), adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11-E of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Sections 13 to 18,
inclusive, of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition) (1981 Replacement Volume), entitled
"Corporations-Municipal", to amend Section 55 of the Charter of
the Town to permit the Town Clerk to sell tax delinquent property
in certain cases. [Section 55 of the Charter of the Town of Snow Hill,
Worcester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date June 2, 1982]
TAKOMA PARK (Montgomery County) CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1982-2
ORDINANCE NO. 2609 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND SECTIONS 1.14(a) and 1.14(c) OF THE
CHARTER OF TAKOMA PARK, MARYLAND TO DELETE THE FIVE PER CENT
CHARTER RESERVE FUND AND SUBSTITUTE A TWO PER CENT GENERAL
CONTINGENCY FUND AND A ONE PER CENT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS RESERVE
FUND. [Section 1.14(b) and (c) of the Charter of the City of
Takoma Park, Montgomery County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments. Effective Date July 14, 1982]
CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION No. 1982-3 ORDINANCE No. 2617 WHEREAS, Section 48(a), Article 81, Annotated Code of
Maryland, 1980 Replacement Volume, as amended, provides that,
with certain exceptions, all incorporated cities may impose and
collect after October 1 interest on overdue taxes at the rate of
2/3 of 1 per cent for each month or fraction of a month until
paid, and it is the desire of the Mayor and Council of Takoma
Park, to have the City Charter consistent with the State Code and
to conform to present practices; AND WHEREAS, Section 48(b), Article 81, Annotated Code of
Maryland, 1980 Replacement Volume, as amended, provides that any
city may impose and collect after October 1 such penalties for
failure to make payment of ordinary taxes by or after that day,
as prior to the date of finalty may have been fixed by resolution
